Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: name, company name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, GST number, company website.
• RFQ and order data: manufacturing requirements, drawings and CAD files you upload, quotation history, order and delivery status.
• Communications: any messages or notes exchanged with Suja Handles & Knobs through the platform.
• Technical data: login timestamps and an audit log of security-relevant actions (uploads, downloads, status changes) for account security and dispute resolution.

2. How we use it

Your data is used to operate the RFQ-to-delivery workflow: routing your requests to Suja Handles & Knobs, generating quotations and invoices, tracking production and delivery, and sending you the notifications described in section 4. We do not use your data to train any AI or machine learning model — this platform does not use AI in any part of its operation.

3. Who can see it

Your RFQs, files, quotations, orders, and invoices are visible only to your own account and to Suja Handles & Knobs staff (Main Vendor Admin, Production, and Quality roles) who need them to fulfil your order. Other customers can never see your data — this is enforced at the database query level on every request, not just in the interface. Uploaded files are stored privately and are only ever served through an authenticated, ownership-checked download — never via a public URL.

4. Notifications

We send account and order-related notifications (RFQ status changes, quotations, production/quality updates, dispatch and delivery) by email and in-app. These are transactional, not marketing — they're how the platform keeps you informed about your own orders.

5. Data retention

We retain RFQ, quotation, order, and invoice records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting, warranty, and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us — some records may be retained where required by law (e.g. financial records for tax purposes).

6. Payment data

This platform does not process payments and does not collect or store card, UPI, or bank account details. Payment terms are recorded as text on your quotation/order; actual payment happens directly between you and Suja Handles & Knobs, outside this platform.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), sessions use httpOnly cookies, all file downloads are access-controlled, and administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but this is treated as a first-class requirement, not an afterthought.

8. Your rights

You can view and update most of your own information from your dashboard profile page at any time. For anything else — a data export, a correction, or a deletion request — contact us using the details below.
